Welcome to my site. People are always asking me where I get my ideas. I have a simple answer to that question. I paint images that come directly from my mind, with no

preconceived notion of what I will do before I start a painting. Some of my paintings are therfore more abstract than others, but they all possess one thing in common, and that is

the essence of my subconscious at the time I paint them. Some are very serene, while others may be much less so, which is the way life is. My work is honest, and I never try to

pull any punches by representing it as more. It is simply a direct expression of my state of mind at the time of painting, and the images I have chosen to paint

are images that have lived in my heart all my life. I do try to follow Georgia O'Keeffes goal to "fill a space in a beautiful way", but other than that I have no outside influences.
